 Ok, I substituted leaders for the word “Rockstar” because I like it better…

But this morning I was reading Chapter 13, pg. 163 of 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and was really intrigued by this statistic: 

“According to Opinion Research Corporation of Ajilon Finance, American workers selected that one trait that was most important for a person to lead them: 

1. Leading by example                                   26%
2. Strong ethics or morals                             19%
3. Knowledge of the business                        17%
4. Fairness                                                     14%
5. Overall intelligence and competence         13%
6. Recognition of employee’s                        10%”

The number one choice is leading by example…  It’s fascinating to me that intelligence and competence are ranked 5th… I guess I find that as a relief…

Perhaps that is why this is a powerfull example
